Lord Darnley’s Gravesend – A guided walk with drinks and light buffet

Lord Darnley’s Gravesend – discover some of the forgotten links between Gravesend and the Earls of Darnley at Cobham Hall.

The walk will last about an hour and a half and included will be a brief visit to the former Super Cinema building in New Road-why? Come and find out and discover a rich and now largely lost piece of local history. The tour will include Manor Road-Darnley Road-Somerset Court, New Road (lost roads of Mansfield Place and Mount Pleasant), Stuart Road, Bath Street, Clifton Road and Bligh Road.

The tour begins and ends at Sealey’s Walker Jarvis Estate Agents in Parrock Street where a light buffet and drinks will be provide afterwards. The highly amusing, entertaining, local historian, Christoph Bull, is your guide – A fascinating tour – not to be missed!

This is a 3rd Party Event, kindly organised and hosted by Sealeys Walker Jarvis in aid of the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund. All proceeds from this event will fund counselling for young people in Gravesham who are struggling with their mental health.

Ticket price £10 including light buffet and drinks.
