The 2026 Inter-schools’ wellbeing trophy is being held in memory of Amelie Boyd (née Ogden), who tragically passed away on 23 February 2026, aged just 20. Amelie was the stepdaughter of Gravesend Grammar School teacher James Fotheringham, and a much-loved part of our wider school community.
Amelie was a vibrant, kind and funny young woman who lit up every room. She loved netball, creativity, and brought colour and warmth to everyone around her. She had been looking forward to celebrating her 21st birthday this spring with her husband Gerrard and their future together.
We are asking students, families and staff from Gravesend Grammar and St John’s to come together in her memory, to attend the match and show your support. Tickets can be purchased on the day at the main entrance )opposite the Shell petrol station).
If you are unable to attend, please consider donating via the link below. Funds raised will support young people in Gravesham through the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund.
