St George’s help get the message out to students
Saint George’s Church of England School have really helped in getting our message out to students by organising two fundraising events this year involving all students.
The first was a colour run at the end of the summer term and just recently they supported the ‘Stand out and show up’ campaign run by Young Minds for World mental Health Day. Students were invited to attend school wearing a yellow accessory to compliment their uniform – yellow socks, yellow scarfs and even yellow shoes; all in return for a donation of £1. All money was donated to us and a total of £2,018.70 was raised from both events. Their support will fund counselling for at least four young people in Gravesham.
