Our first Golf day and biggest fundraiser to date

This has been our largest fundraising event since we started in September last year. We raised just over £3,254.00 which will fund 6 young people through mental health counselling and give them the opportunity of a better life. So thank you to everyone who entered the Texas Scramble competition, volunteers on the day and the staff at Redlibbets Golf and Country Club for your kind support, it has truly been overwhelming and emotional for us.
 
We had thirteen teams enter and 50 golfers turned out in what can only be described as brutal weather conditions. Congratulations to the winning team, ‘Three off the Tree’ (pictured here receiving their winning trophy from Kerry Holmes) and the runners up DGP Logistics.
 
To date, the community has raised over £20,000. We started funding in April and now have our first five young people in Counselling. Thank you to Kent Community Foundation, the Gazebo you sponsored had its first run out and was much needed due to the rain.
 
Also to our Prizes Sponsor, Duncan Holt from Digital Caddies who provided the Winning prize, a round of golf for four at Rochester & Cobham GC, plus golf balls which were included with all other prizes. Your support is appreciated.
