Over £1,100 raised by the Mayor’s charity

Last Friday, more than 130 people gathered for the Gravesham Mayor’s quiz night, raising £1,100 for the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and Ellenor. The event, which saw 17 teams competing, was a resounding success.

 

After seven challenging rounds, “Algorhythm and Blues” emerged as the winners. The Worshipful Mayor of Gravesham, Jenny Wallace, presented the winning team with their prize.

 

“It was a fantastic night,” said the Mayor of Gravesham, Cllr. Jenny Wallace. “The community really came together to support two very important causes. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who participated and donated.”

 

Special thanks were given to Simon Maynard, who served as the quizmaster, and to Ebbsfleet United and their staff for their continued support in making the event memorable.
