Suffolk golf club supports our cause
Clive Taylor, Captain of Newton Green Golf Club in Suffolk, chose the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund as his charity during his year as Captain. Clive grew up in Gravesend and attended both St George’s School and Gravesend Grammar School. Having strong connections to the area, he was keen to support the work we do for young people in Gravesham.
Through a series of events held throughout the year, the club’s members raised an impressive £6,277. For a club with a relatively small membership, this is a remarkable achievement.
The funds raised will enable around 19 young people to receive vital counselling support.
Our sincere thanks go to Clive Taylor for selecting EHMF as his chosen charity, to General Manager Dave Melvin, and to all the members of Newton Green Golf Club who supported the fundraising so generously during Clive’s captaincy. Your support will help change young lives.
