Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. We may feel unable to manage the demands from school, work, friends or family. We might simply feel a bit lost and not understand why. At times like this, counselling may help.
Counselling is a talking therapy, suitable for all ages, that aims to improve mental health and general wellbeing. It can help you gain understanding of your feelings, behaviours and relationships, as well as find new ways to approach situations. Whilst a counsellor is not there to tell you what to do, through building a trusting relationship within a safe environment, they can work alongside you to create helpful and manageable solutions.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means that I use a range of different therapeutic approaches to meet your needs. I work with young people and adults within my practice based in Greenhithe, as well as a number of schools and charities across Kent. I have both lived experience and professional experience of Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and am passionate about providing emotional support in this area.
If you feel that counselling may be beneficial for you or would like to find out more, please contact me on 07860137014 or via my website www.charliemansfieldtherapy.co.uk .
