A Moving Tribute to Elliott Holmes: A Legacy of Hope and Support for Young People in Gravesham
On Sunday 7th September, we came together at Knowle Country House in Higham for another successful Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund fundraising event. Over 100 supporters gathered in the beautiful gardens to help raise awareness and funds for this important cause.
A particularly special moment came at the end of the event when Rocket Max (aka Max Bresnahan), in a heartfelt and impromptu gesture, played Elton John’s “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” as a tribute to Elliott Holmes. Max shared a few moving words, reminding us all of the lasting impact of suicide on those left behind.
It was a beautiful and emotional tribute that left a lasting impression on all who were there.
Watch the video to see this powerful moment and view touching clips of Elliott that capture his spirit. Together, we can raise awareness and continue supporting those who need it most.
The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund has been nominated by the community and is in the final of the BBC Make a Difference Awards being held in Canterbury on Monday – wish us luck.
