A Night to Remember at the BBC Make a Difference Awards
On Monday night, we had the honour of reaching the final at the BBC Make a Difference Awards, held at the beautiful Malthouse Theatre in Canterbury. Although we didn’t take home the win, we were proud to be in such esteemed company.
It was an inspiring evening, filled with fantastic people and new connections. A huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners, particularly Mama to Mama from Thanet, who deservedly picked up the Community Award in our category.
While the spotlight was on some incredible nominees, let’s also take a moment to recognize the countless unsung heroes who may not have been nominated but are making a profound impact in their communities. Whether it’s sports coaches, hospice volunteers, litter pickers, or anyone who goes above and beyond to make life better for others – you are all heroes.
A special thank you to the BBC for their incredible initiative in shining a light on the work being done across communities. We’re also immensely grateful to our dedicated team at EHMF, some of whom couldn’t join us on the night, and to all those who have supported us so generously in Gravesham.
Looking forward to continuing our work together, making a difference, one step at a time.
