An evening kick-off at Ebbsfleet raises £3,180
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday evening for an incredible EHMF fundraising event kindly hosted by Ebbsfleet United Football Club!
We had the pleasure of welcoming 150 players, from 21 teams, including 10 teams representing youth football clubs in Gravesham, who played their hearts out and made this a fun event unforgettable. The role these coaches, managers, and volunteers play, week in, week out, in bettering youth mental health, building resilience, and learning life skills is invaluable, truly inspiring and can make a big difference to a young person’s life.
A massive shout-out to the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund volunteer team: Dave and Carolyn Honeyman, her brother Alan, James Ferrin, Matt Davies, Terri Ann Fairclough, and Tina Walker. Your support is invaluable. And of course, thank you to Jimmy Jackson, Fleet legend, who presented the winning trophies and prizes on the night.
Congratulations to our winning team, TNF, who played a blinder on the night! Your performance was nothing short of impressive.
Finally, thank you to Ebbsfleet United for being a cornerstone of the Gravesham community. Your support for so many causes and being the perfect hosts was a key part of the event’s success, and the prizes you provided were truly top-notch! Special mention to Aimee Beagley and her amazing team at Ebbsfleet, a great place to hold your next event.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to making this event such a memorable success. Together, we’re supporting mental health counselling in Gravesham and making a lasting difference to so many young people. Since funding started in April 2022, we have suported 364 young people, a truly massive community effort! If you would like to help raise funds with an event then please contact us.
