5th Annual golf day at Park Wood

Our 5th Annual Golf Day was held at Park Wood Golf Club, near Westerham, on Friday 22nd May and the weather was exceptionally kind, making a brilliant day even better.

We had another excellent turnout, with teams competing for the Better Ball Trophy on what proved to be a tough course. Congratulations to our Nearest the Pin winners, Anthony Uden and Ricky Downey from the Barnes Roffe team.

The trophy was incredibly close, with Dark Horses finishing as runners-up, only pipped on countback by the winning team, Fordies, who scored an impressive 42 points.

A huge thank you to Digital Caddies, our loyal prize sponsors, and to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes. Special thanks also go to the golf clubs who generously supported us with auction items: North Foreland GC, Wrotham Heath GC, Dartford GC, Mid Kent GC, Faversham GC, Pedham Place and Park Wood GC.

Your generosity helped us raise an amazing £2,657, enough to fund counselling for at least eight young people. With so little support available for young people locally, your kindness is genuinely helping to change lives. And finally, to everyone who took part on the day: thank you. We hope to see you all again next year.
