Another fun night at St Barnabas

Our second quiz night of 2024 at St Barnabas Church Hall in Istead Rise, a lovely venue. The evening kicked-off with a game of ‘Play your Cards Right’ to warm up the contestants.

Congratulations to the Quizzy Rascals team who became the eventual winners with 90.5 points out of a possible 105. Thanks go to everyone who donated raffle prizes on the night and the following who donating prizes for the event: Morrisions; Istead Rise Coop; Hotel Chocolat; Nell’s Cafe; Paula Kerr, Lolas cup Cakes; Melissa Doris Lane; Kelly from The Knowle Country House and NEXT the retailer. Your generous support helped raise £358 in the raffle.

Thanks to all those who joined in the fun, Pete Stone for his help setting out the tables and chairs and clearing up and finally to James Ferrin, our quizmaster, who generously gives up a huge amount of time, setting the questions and delivering on the night – James, you make it so entertaining!

The total amount raised for the event was £654.00.
