Behind the scenes at the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund
Much of the work that makes our service possible happens quietly, away from the public eye.
Terri has been a cornerstone of the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund since our first year in 2021. As a volunteer director, she has personally triaged and placed hundreds of young people with local mental health counsellors, ensuring they receive the right support as quickly as possible.
Alongside this enormous responsibility, Terri has helped shape and develop our service into what it is today, all while continuing her work as a self-employed counsellor.
Her commitment, compassion and professionalism have made a lasting difference to hundreds of young people and families across Gravesham.
We were therefore incredibly proud to see Terri receive a Gravesham Civic and Community Award 2026, recognising a contribution that is so often made quietly behind the scenes.
