48 bands, four stages and over 700 people attending. What a fantastic sight!

Herofest at the Red Lion continues to grow bigger every year, bringing the community together while raising vital funds for two causes close to everyone’s hearts: the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and One Big Family – Helping the Homeless.

An incredible £11,275 was raised, which will be shared equally between the two causes.

Events like Herofest also give us an opportunity to honour and remember the family members, friends and loved ones we have lost, while encouraging everyone to speak openly about their mental health and seek support when they need it.

An event of this size does not happen on its own. There is a huge team of people working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it possible.

A special thank you to Anthony Martin, Aaron Lee and Terry Lee, along with every band who generously gave their time, energy and heart to each performance.

Thank you also to the sound teams, bar staff, food vendors, volunteers and everyone else who worked behind the scenes. There are simply too many people to mention individually, but every contribution made a difference.

You all generously donated your time and talents, bringing the community together to support the community.

What an incredible show of support.
