Christmas Carols at The Railway Tavern, Meopham

We welcome aboard The Railway Tavern in Meopham, raising funds for the EHMF, to help us pay for private therapy for the vulnerable young people suffering with their mental health in our community.

The Landlady, Shelly Cockerill approached me, has been keen to help and has decided to run with a Christmas Carols evening, Carols sung by Sarah Starkey’s Village Voices. There will be mulled wine, mince pies and sausage rolls on the night. The Railway Tavern was a favourite pub of Elliott’s and his friends. It would be nice to see a few of his old friends return for the event and raise a toast in his memory.

The date is Saturday 18th December and it’s an early start – Carols start at 6:00pm and they finish at 6:45pm. Of course, the drinking can continue late into the evening. Look forward to see a few familiar face on the night.

They will also be holding a raffle during the month of December for a Christmas Hamper, with all proceeds  going to the EHMF. We thank Shelly, all at The Railway Tavern and Sarah Starkey’s Village Voices for their kind support.
