Football match in memory of Tristan Taylor
On Friday evening, 6th June, two teams came together at Cray Wanderers in Sidcup for a special football match remembering Tristan Taylor. It was more than just a game, it was a tribute to Tristan and an opportunity to raise money to fund mental health counselling for young people in Gravesham.
The match ended 2-2 and was decided on penalties, so many we lost count! Most of the players were a group of mates who play together on Friday nights at Strood Centre, many who know Tristan’s dad, Gavin. Some of the lads also have ties with Higham Eagles.
Together, they raised an incredible £600 for the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund, helping to support vital mental health initiatives for young people in Gravesham.
Thank you to everyone who played, supported, and donated. Tristan’s memory lives on in every pass, goal, and shared moment.
