GAMA Golf society choose EHMF as their charity of the year

Earlier this year, we were please to hear GAMA golf society had chosen EHMF as their charity of the year. Incoming Captain, Mike Williams from Sole Street was keen for his society members to hear more about our work in the local community and invited me along to say a few words and enjoy a round of golf! This clearly struck a chord with some of the members who have given us their full support.

An amazing £1,200 was raised through a blind putting competition, a raffle and an auction. This is the first of four charity days for EHMF the society are planning throughout the year. The money raised on Thursday will already give 3 young people instant access to mental health counselling. A big thank you to Mike and the GAMA Golf Society.
