Gravesend and Meopham Rotary Club raises £3,774 for two local charities

The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and Gravesham Santuary (helping the homeless in Gravesham) both benefitted from funds raised at the Gravesend and Meopham Rotary Club’s annual Charity Ball, held at Cobham Hall on Saturday 1st April.  A brilliant night, attended by a very warm and generous crowd. With so many deserving causes locally, we were truly humbled by the Rotary Club’s continued support for what we are trying to achieve locally.

The Rotary Club has been a big part of this community effort, not only last Saturday, but at the London Beach golf day and a generous donation they made last year. In total the club has raised and donated £4,429.00 to the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund. This will fund counselling for at least 9 young people and in many instances, have a positive impact on their families too.

Thank you to everyone who gave their support at this event.
