Istead Park Project receives funding boost from EHMF

As a benefactor from the recent Elliott Holmes Charity Football Match, it gave me great pleasure to present a cheque for £544.90 to the Istead Park Project team, on Tuesday.

The Istead Park Project are raising funds to update the play facilities at the local community field.  Play facilities are vital in developing physical fitness; agility; stamia; coordination; balance; and strength in our young people. It allows them to engage with other children and most importantly, it benefits their mental health. The project team were also kind enough to volunteer their services to help us run the charity football event last month.

We wish them well with their future fundraiding efforts.
