Quiz night in Meopham raises £323

A fun-filled evening for our first quiz night, held on Thursday at The Kings Arms in Meopham. £323.00 was raised and will pay for 6 counselling sessions for young people, so a big thank you to the community for your valued support.

Our quiz master for the evening, James Ferrin gave a splendid performance, keeping everyone entertained with some fun question rounds including some local knowledge questions. Broadditch Farm shop generously donated the raffle prize, a lovely hamper of local produce. Thanks also to The Kings Arms and their team for hosting the event and donating the prize for the winning team, a selection of wines, won by the ‘Where’s Will’ team.

Over £10,000 has been raised so far, smashing our first-year target in the first 5 months. This will pay for 200 counselling sessions and help at least 25 young people struggling with their mental health. We are hoping to be in a position to accept self-referrals for 13-18 year olds, shortly.

We will keep you updated on progress.
