Sealeys history walk raises £467.00
An excellent turn out of 35 people at Sealeys history walk on Friday evening. Local Historian, Christoph Bull, gave an excellent guided walk through the town and explained the many connections Lord Darnley had with Gravesend; all delivered with the usual humour that goes hand-in-hand with Chris’s excellent talks.
Our gratitude goes to Mike Sears and his wonderful team at Sealeys Walker Jarvis for being such spendid hosts, laying on a buffet and drinks and giving the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund a few minutes to explain what we are doing to help young people struggling with their mental health.
Sealeys have been an excellent supporter of our cause, right from the off and this event goes to demonstrate the committment from the business community in wanting to do something with us to help our young people. £467.00 was raised on the night which will fund counselling sessions for another young person. Currently we now have 13 young people receiving help.
