Sealey’s Walker Jarvis joins as a counselling sponsor

We are delighted to announce Sealeys Walker Jarvis recently became a counselling sponsor for the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund. Sealeys will cover the counselling fees of at least one young person and run an event during the year to further the cause.

MD, Mike Sears has long been a supporter of better mental health in our young people. Mike said: “With the latest NHS digital report quoting 1 in 6 young people now having a probably mental health disorder, up from 1 in 9 in 2017, we all need to take action.”

The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund now stands at over £10,000 and will pay for over 200 counselling sessions for young people and could potentially make a difference to up to 20 young people’s lives. It is testament to how our local community, young and old, have come together and given their support.
