Thamesview students raise £143 for EHMF

Sixth formers from Thamesview school were keen to raise money to promote suicide awareness. They organised a ‘Teacher dance off’, with 20 teachers taking part in the fun. Over 100 students paid to come and watch the teachers display their John Travolta moves. Music was supplied by two teachers and a student who played live music to add to the fun.

Poppy Jenkins, a sixth former said, “We had heard about the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and please we could donate money to go towards changing a young person’s life.”

Pupils raised £143 – it will pay for three counselling sessions. A big thank you from the team at EHMF!
