Higham walk in memory of 15 year old Tristan
Over 50 people turned out for Tristan’s Walk on Sunday. The walk was in memory of 15-year-old Tristan Taylor who sadly took his own life recently. Tristan grew up and lived in Higham, attending Higham Primary School and later Thamesview school in Riverview Park, Gravesend. Tristan Spent a lot of his spare time in Higham with his friends, in particular at the Rec, where our 5-mile walk began and ended.
Thanks to everyone who turned up and made this such a lovely tribute to a lovely young man. Our thanks also go to Megan and Lola’s Cupcakes in Bluewater who generously donated cupcakes for everyone after the walk. They have been quietly supporting many of our events and highly supportive of our cause.
The event raised £390 and will go to funding a young person through counselling.
